In total, three projects were opened

Two projects were supported by “Children in Vienna” (KIWI). For the 70th anniversary of Children in Vienna In November 2018 and since the beginning of 2018, donations were collected from each of the 91 kindergarten and the staff of the office to realize two projects for needy children in Opochka orphanages in the Pskov region.

We would like to thank Kinder in Wien and his sponsors for the great support.

In the children's home Opochka-Correctional for children with mild disabilities, a much-needed store for food was completed. The second completed project concerned the renovation of the sports hall of the children's home Opochka-Social. Here are accommodated children who need social support. Both opening ceremonies conjured a wide smile on the children of the dormitories. Sergey Nikolaev, Minister of Education of the Pskov region, the representative of children's rights of Opochka, and the Pskov Children's Foundation, with which little hearts have been working since 11 years, took part.

The third project was made possible by the support of the Rotary Club South and the Rotary Clubs of the City of Osnabrück as well as several sponsors such as Daiichi Sankyo, Krone, Stautmann and Vöss. Thanks to generous financial support, a wheelchair lift was built in the children's home Belskoye Ustye. In addition, the sports hall and the associated sanitary facilities have been renovated. This room is very important for the children as they spend a lot of time there every day and the physiotherapy takes place there.

This project was on the occasion of the 39. International Hanseatic Days 2019 in Pskov supported.

We would like to thank all, sponsors especially Prof. Dr. med. med. Bernhard Stallkamp, member of the Rotary Club Osnabrück-Süd and active supporter of the association for his commitment and his great support. Thanks to Bernhard, this project was successfully completed.

Finally we thank our friends and supporters Prof. Dr. med. Bernhard Stallkamp and Richard Heskamp for accompanying you on this trip, our local partner Pskov Children's Foundation and the children's homes for the warm welcome and the wonderful time.
