School for everyone - it is still not a matter of course
The children need us!
Ratanakiri Province is a province in northeast Cambodia. The majority of the population of Ratanakiri is made up of ethnic minorities and makes up around 10 to 20% of the population of Cambodia.
The living conditions of these ethnic minorities are very precarious as the agricultural methods used are rudimentary. Geographical isolation hinders their economic development and social exclusion prevents them from developing.
Our partner in Cambodia, “Future Light Organization”, has opened an education center for children from these ethnic minorities to give them the opportunity to integrate later as adults into their country's society.
The center is 16 km from a village where 16 children of school age live. The trails are muddy and difficult to pass. The only solution is to enable these children to live in the FLO Education Center. Unfortunately, FLO did not have the means to feed and care for them.
Thanks to the support of Daiichi-Sankyo Europe, 16 children from ethnic minorities can go to school in Cambodia.
The support of Daiichi Sankyo Europe made it possible to finance the stay and the education of these 16 children for 5 months. The joy and appreciation of the families of these children and FLO is immense.
These children still need our help
What will happen after 5 months of support? We are looking for sponsors so that the education of these 16 children does not stop.
You can help these children by giving a child 3 meals a day for a month and / or giving them what they need for their wellbeing for a month.
