On January 10, the pupils of the 2B Bundesrealgymnasium Purkersdorf Lilli, Lydia, Lena and Valerie presented the club little hearts with a check for 150 euros, to a young Ukrainian family in need to help. The handover was carried out during the religious instruction by Professor Mag. Marika Wandl.
During the parents' day in December 2019, these four 12-year-old girls had the initiative to sell homemade Christmas biscuits to the parents in order to collect donations for a small heart project.
The big heart and social intelligence of Lilli, Lydia, Lena and Valerie will be of great use to them in their future adult life. It is important to recognize, appreciate and promote young people's engagement in order to build a borderless, fairer and more social world.
