We, the 53 little orphans from the orphanage in Kropyvnytskiy in Ukraine, have been living in southern Burgenland, on the border with Styria, since the end of March 2022. Originally there were 63 of us. One of our small children died of a deformity and nine left us.
Thanks to Austria, especially Burgenland, Senecura, kleine herzen and the generosity of Austrians and Europeans we live happily and peacefully in this beautiful country.
But nothing is gained. This war is destroying our country more every day. It's more than 500 days of bombing, families destroyed and so much suffering!
We want to return home, but the danger is too great.
